ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION
OF
ST. STEPHEN POST NO. 221
OF
THE AMERICAN LEGION - DEPARTMENT OF MINNESOTA

We, the undersigned, for the purpose of forming a Corporation under and pursuant to the Provisions of Chapter 550, Laws of Minnesota, for 1951, known as the Minnesota Non-Profit Corporation Act, do hereby associate ourselves together as a Body Corporate and adopt the following Articles of Incorporation.
ARTICLE I.
The Charter Name and Number of said Post is ST. STEPHEN POST NO. 221 OF THE AMERICAN LEGION, DEPARTMENT OF MINNESOTA.
ARTICLE II.
St. Stephen Post No. 221 of The American Legion, Department of Minnesota, received a Permanent Charter under and by virtue of authority granted by the American Legion, a Corporation organized and existing under the Laws of the United States of America, which Permanent Charter was issued on March 2nd, 1959, and bears Registration No. 21,938.
ARTICLE III.
The purpose of this Corporation shall be to sue and be sued, and to receive, acquire, hold, manage and dispose of property of every kind, granted by the Laws under which it is incorporated, but not contrary to the usages and the Laws of this Post and The American Legion. The Post shall have no Corporate Seal.
ARTICLE IV.
This Corporation shall not afford pecuniary gain, incidentally or otherwise, to its members.
ARTICLE V.
The period of duration of Corporate Existence of this Corporation shall be perpetual.
ARTICLE VI.
The registered Office and the principal place of transacting the business of this Corporation, in this State, is St. Stephen, County of Stearns and State of Minnesota.

ARTICLE VIII.
The number of Directors constituting the First Board of Directors of this Corporation shall be nine (9) and the tenure in office of such First Board of Directors shall be One (1) Year, or until successors are elected and qualified. The name and address of each such First Director is:
